Product Guide
We know talking to teenagers is never easy, and especially so if they're from a different species! This guide is all about how to best communicate with your new fish[es]! If you’re not much of a reader, we compiled the information into the following video that you can watch at your leisure; otherwise, keep scrolling to do this the old fashioned way.

We are aware this is a placeholder. Please be gentle with us...
Control Box
Whether you brought 1, 3, or 5 fish into your home, this guide is universal! The translation device may look a little bit different, but both have the same fundamental features: a port to plug in power, a switch to turn it on and off, and a dial with a button to talk to your fish[es].

Included in your box is a 1A, 24V power supply. Should you lose yours, fret not; they’re nothing special. Just about any 24V power supply will suffice, so long as the barrel jack fits the onboard 5.5mm plug.
Communication
All communication with your gupp[y, ies] is facilitated through the control box dial. There are 4 “modes” of communication: Brightness, Color, Fade, and Party. Turning the dial clockwise increases the mode and counter clockwise decreases it. Pressing the dial acts as a button and lets you cycle through each mode. If you ever get lost in the sauce, that’s okay—said with our best Whim Hoff impression; just hold down the dial button for 3 seconds to reset calm your fish down into a nice bright warm white.
We’ve found that learning to use the fish-luminous-transducer becomes super intuitive pretty fast; but in the meantime, we worked REALLY HARD on the following graphic to summarize this information!

Warnings
We didn’t want to include this section, but the folks over at legal—pronounced Dan and Broose’s better thoughts—demanded we include it.
- This product was designed for indoor use only; you may be able to get away with putting it outside under covering, but we do not recommend it.
- Do not leave in direct sun; it will discolor and your fish[es] will be sad.
- Please do not attempt to cook or consume your new fish[es]; we will be disappointed in you.
- The fish / lights / stands are pretty durable, but the control boards are relatively fragile. Handle these with care.
- Don’t subject to excessive cold or heat—we honestly don’t know how much, lets just say 32°F to 100°F. If your house is outside that range, well you are a harder individual than us
